Everybody is aware of the idea of loss but not everyone is acquainted with the concept of “symbolic loss.” It is just that every human being has experienced “symbolic loss” at some point of time or other but they are not aware of the term. When a person grieves about a death or loss even after the actual death or absence, it is basically known as “symbolic loss.”
